Pale blue is easy to like and easy to wear with white, yellow or stripes. The women's Day Tripper is paper straw shaped as a safari hat: the crown rises 4 1/2 in and the brim extends 3 1/2 in, enough to shade your face on a boardwalk or a park bench. A grosgrain band matches the straw. The sweatband adjusts with Velcro, and sizes run S/M and L/XL. It is imported. Wear it with a yellow sundress and sandals for an ice cream run.

Margo's tip: Paper straw dislikes soaking. If it gets caught in a downpour, let it air dry on its crown and don't reshape it while wet.
