A palm hat with a bit of color at the band is good company on a sunny day. The Bisbee is midweight Mexican palm in natural, with a 3 3/4 in crown and a 3 1/2 in brim that covers the face and part of the neck. Braided jute forms the band, with bright colored accents and a brass concho. Straw is the warm-weather choice, so this is a hat for gardening or a long market morning. The sweatband is elastic, and sizes are MD, LG and XL.

Margo's tip: Hang it by the crown on a hook in the shade between uses. Sun-baked straw gets brittle.
