Our take · Researched, not tested

A black hat band for the one who'd rather ride alone.

By Walt Mercer, felt, fit and care desk Pen name, fact-checked by our team

The Lone Wolf is a black hat band sold on its own, with no hat included. The name tells you who it's for: someone who picks a path and doesn't take a vote on it. Black goes with nearly any hat color, so it can calm down a busy hat or give a light one some contrast. It's listed as one size.

Walt's tip: Before you swap bands, note how the old one sat so the new one lines up at the same height.
