A buckle set is the traditional finish on a Western hat band, and the Elan closes with a three-piece buckle in silver. The band itself is faux leather with bead detailing along it. It is imported. Put it on a felt cowboy hat for a dressier evening, or use it to replace a frayed ribbon on an older favorite.

Walt's tip: Set the buckle slightly off center on the side of the crown, the usual spot for a Western buckle set.
