Natural raffia goes with white cotton, striped tops and every shade of blue, which makes it an easy vacation hat. This Beach Comber is all raffia, shaped as a teardrop fedora, with a 4 1/2 in crown and a 2 1/2 in brim. The velcro sweatband adjusts, so you can loosen it over braids or a low bun. A brim this size is for style first, so keep the sunscreen handy. Imported.

Margo's tip: Slide it into your tote crown-first with a towel around it. Raffia travels better cushioned.
